PORT HAWKESBURY PAPER IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL FOR:

Heavy Equipment Operator – Woodyard

This position is responsible for the unloading and management of wood and wood chip products in PHP’s woodyard. The ideal candidate must be a team player who is capable of performing safely in a fast paced, highly technical and flexible work environment. 

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years (minimum) experience operating heavy equipment
  • Grade XII or equivalent
  • Must meet the minimum essential skills requirement
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must pass a depth perception test

Job Type: Full Time (four days on/four days off rotational schedule involving both day and night shifts)

Pay: $24.77/hour
